Einstein: The Closet Geocentrist

“Einstein: The Closet Geocentrist” is a 2.5 hour video that traces the work of Albert Einstein from his theory of Special Relativity in 1905 to his theory of General Relativity in 1915 and beyond. Einstein, confronted by the results of the 1887 Michelson-Morley experiment that showed Earth was not moving through space, developed the Special Relativity theory in order to make it appear the Earth was still revolving around the sun. Eventually, he had to revamp and supersede the Special theory with the General theory due to the former’s neglect of gravity and inertial forces.

Once gravity and inertial forces became part of the system, this brought Einstein to the conclusion that the universe could be rotating daily around a fixed Earth or Earth could be rotating daily in a fixed universe, and thus geocentrism, the very system he tried to escape in 1905 with Special Relativity, was the very system that General Relativity could not deny.

In the process, Einstein had to renege on the very postulate that he had assumed correct in the Special theory (the constancy of the speed of light) and allow light to move at any speed in the General theory, due to the presence of gravity and inertial forces.

General Relativity also says that material objects can move beyond the speed of light, which means the universe can have a daily angular momentum beyond c and thus the stars can revolve around the Earth at superluminal speeds. This also means that gravitational/inertial forces will be greater the farther the radius from Earth, which means that light will travel much faster in deep space than it does on Earth.

Moreover, contrary to Einstein’s other requirement in Special Relativity (the non-existence of ether), Einstein took back the ether in General Relativity to serve as a medium for light.

The film also re-investigates the work of Isaac Newton and shows that his system was flawed (according to Mach and Einstein) because it was totally dependent on an Absolute Space, a space that was infinite and could not move. Newton needed Absolute Space so that his linear equations of force could be defined and operate. Einstein shows that once the presumption of Absolute Space is removed and the universe is allowed to move (i.e., rotate), then the fictitious forces of Newton’s system (i.e., centrifugal, Coriolis and Euler forces) are no longer artifacts of motion but are real forces created by the angular momentum of a rotating universe.

Relativity, essentially, makes Newton’s equations obsolete in the grand scheme of things, although they still may be useful on local levels. At the end, the mechanics and equations of a geocentric system are fully displayed, and the ether is used both as a medium for light and a medium for gravity, with the ether itself being the cause for gravity.
